Virginia Louise Murphy

A graduate of Cortiva Institute (formerly Muscular Therapy Institute) where she received her massage therapy diploma, Virginia is dedicated to seeing massage therapy as a complementary approach to healing through the power of safe and compassionate touch.Virginia is a board certified massage therapist through the NCBTMB. She is a certified lymphedema therapist (Vodder Method) and has advanced training in Oncology Massage through Tracy Walton.  She is a member of and a preferred practitioner with the Society for Oncology Massage and a partnering practitioner for Lucy's Love Bus; a charitable trust which provides integrative therapies to children with cancer. Virginia is also a volunteer at AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Boston where she provides oncology massage to residents there.  Virginia is passionate about exercise and nutrition and the positive effects these, in conjunction with massage, can have on the mind, body, and spirit.Virginia was a therapist with Care Dimensions (formerly Hospice of Greater Boston), works with pediatric oncology patients at Tufts Children’s Hospital, and sees clients/patients at Sacred Healing Bodyworks in Hanover, MA.
