Liana C. Percoco

Liana trained at the renowned Boulder College of Massage Therapy’s 1000-hour program with a focus in the Orthopedic Massage, and has taken courses in Asian Bodywork and Theory at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.   In addition to her work as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Liana is also a dancer, choreographer, and musician with a B.A. in Dance from Columbia College Chicago and was most recently an Artist at Residence at performance space Links Hall.Coming to massage therapy with a background in dance and movement, Liana is fascinated with the way the body moves through space and how to live in our bodies more efficiently, expressively, and pain free!  Liana focuses her practice on deep tissue, therapeutic massage (drawing from Swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage techniques) that stops pain patterns while incorporating elements of Yoga, Shiatsu, stretching, breathe work, and somatic education for a relaxing, holistic treatment. With massage therapy Liana wants clients to feel empowered through an awareness of their body that continues to allow momentum for the activities in life that inspire us.
