I have always been fascinated with the human body, human behavior and what makes us be in the world the way that we are. As a Massage Practitioner and care giver, I have the opportunity to experience through my hands the affect that our emotions have in our muscles. It is fascinating to see how our emotions, thoughts and feelings affect our physical body. I believe that when designing a session, it is important to look at each individual person as a whole. I listen to their stories, study their bodies and have an idea what I need to do in the session but, also being mindful of each individual's expectation of the session to make sure that they receive what they need from the session. It is a beautiful dance that happens. It's like being a muscle whisperer. The client tells me what they need, I listen to their bodies and the body may be telling me a different story and that is where the dance happens; I like to think of it as a beautiful tango. Are you ready to dance?
