About
My passion in life is to help people. In high school I studied Physical Therapy and co-oped with the University of Louisville Hospital PT department. I thoroughly enjoyed helping the therapists and watching them heal people through movement and touch, but I didn't want to stop there. I delved into the medical world, studying nursing at Ivy Tech. After clinicals, I decided I had more of a passion in preventative care and holistic healing. A massage therapist that I had been seeing for a few years really helped to heal me in many ways. She helped me to feel my best and even worked with me through my pregnancy so I was able to continue working. Ultimately she sparked a fire in me to want to follow in her footsteps.I graduated at the top of my class from Advanced Massage Therapeutics and passed my state board exam in April 2018. As I start my own practice here at J. Zen, I am beginning a lifelong journey in healing and learning a variety of modalities to serve my community.Throughout my education I have worked in the Louisville food service industry as a server and bartender. I will continue my work to help people in the industry by serving them so they can better serve others.
