Massage therapy is great for remedial purposes, but I encourage everyone to stop chasing the pain. I observe how a person holds his or herself and how the body moves. After my assessment and we have a chance to develop a plan, I apply bodywork techniques that remove restrictions that might contribute or even cause of your pain or discomfort. Manual therapy is also a terrific idea for prevention of injuries that might stem from overuse or improper body mechanics and should be apart of your regular wellness regime.
