Terrance Wayne Hussey

Wayne graduated from Chicago School of Massage Therapy (CSMT) in 2000 and has been a practicing LMT for 25 years this January. He has been teaching the profession for 18+ years; first at CSMT then at Cortiva Institute of Massage and now at Zen Shiatsu in Evanston for last 3 years. He also teaches Continuing Education at Zen for their Sports Massage Certification Program. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Ontario. Canada with a bachelor's degree in Applied Human Kinetics and a minor in Psychology. For the last 7 years he has also incorporated his Wellness Coaching skills as a Certified Wellness Coach. He has 15+ yrs. of experience as a Physical Therapy Technician and Personal Trainer.His diverse background allows him to incorporate many different methods into a single session contouring to each individual's needs. His techniques include Myofascial, Swedish/Relaxation, PNF/Stretching techniques, Trigger Point work, Sports Massage, Reiki Master techniques and is Manuel Lymph Drainage Certified. He is currently working at Illinois Bone and Joint Institue (IBJI) as an LMT, Wellness Coach and Rehabilitaion Specialist. IBJI has allowed him to compete his third season with The Chicago Sky, Womens WMBA basketball team and is starting this fall at Northwestern University in their Athletic Department as an LMT.
