I been practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. Working in various spas and fitness centers, I have met many people from various backgrounds with different therapeutic needs. This has allowed me to enhance my skills as a therapist. As a graduate of the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy I am skilled in various forms of massage and have a great understanding of the human system. In addition to being a practicing therapist, I am also a massage instructor where I share my knowledge with future therapists.I approach all my therapeutic sessions with knowledge and intent to ensure that my client's needs are met. Although I specialized in clinical and deep tissue massage and manual lymphatic drainage, I am skilled in various forms of massage and pressure that will be used to create an effective session. MY APPROACHIn today's stressful and busy society we have become more focused on daily work. As a result we pay less attention to our bodies, leading to multiple aches and pains, of which many become chronic. The lack of daily self-care can lead to muscular imbalances, leading to health and postural issues later in life. Through massage many of these conditions can be treated. Whether your goal is to simply relax, or reduce that nagging pain, I use massage as a pathway to assist in providing relief through knowledge and intention. By blending different modalities of massage and techniques, I develop a session tailored to my client's individual needs. By relaxing the muscles, assisting in muscle recovery, and rejuvenating the body the ultimate goal is to improve physical and mental health.
