As a dedicated Shiatsu massage therapist, I deeply believe in the holistic approach to self-healing. My practice is rooted in the Eastern philosophy of harmony—within oneself and the world around us. I see myself as a facilitator, guiding the body and spirit toward their natural state of balance. My practice integrates the foundational principles of Shiatsu with elements of Swedish massage, Thai massage, and passive or resisted stretching. Every treatment is tailored to meet the unique needs of every client, supporting their journey toward internal balance and natural wellness. By combining the muscle relaxation and restoration techniques of Western massage, the benefits of passive stretching, the space creation and meridian work of Shiatsu, and the precision of acupressure points, I effectively address a wide range of physical and emotional complaints.As a graduate of Zen Shiatsu Chicago Massage Therapy School, I am also a Certified Practitioner with the American Organization of Bodyworker Therapies for Asia (AOBTA), as well as a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association)My personal self-care routine involves Thai Chi, meditation, a Jnana yoga practice, and, of course, Shiatsu. I love the peace I find in Shiatsu and enjoy sharing its benefits with others. I believe in the body's ability to self-regulate. As a therapist, I strive to be present and create a space for the intrinsic healing potential of my client to manifest. Outer Harmony begins with Inner Balance.
