About
Emily has been involved in athletics since she started skiing, and playing various sports at a young age. Throughout high school, she was active in soccer, track, cross country, basketball, skiing, snowboarding and olympic weightlifting. While in college, she was a competitive middle-distance runner for Boise State University and the University of Oregon. After earning her Bachelor's degree, Emily went on to earn her Master's degree, teach at the University of Oregon, and coach track and cross country at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. Emily now provides customized therapeutic massage treatments for her clients in Boise, Idaho. She utilizes the following modalities in her massage sessions: sports massage, deep tissue, Ashiatsu, and clinical massage. Her overall goal is to provide manual therapy that centers the body/mind connection, and helps clients maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy all that beautiful Boise, Idaho has to offer. By utilizing her background in athletics, coaching, and education, Emily teaches clients about the musculoskeletal system and self-care techniques, helping them take their health into their own hands. When she's not massaging, Emily enjoys exploring Idaho's landscapes with her husband and 3 dogs, as well as practicing yoga, snowboarding, riding her cyclocross bike, hiking, camping, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. She hopes to add mountain biking to that list in the near future.
