Greetings, My name is Zahava Czara I am a licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Hawaii. I've been in the industry professionally since 2001 where my training began within a sponsoring clinic in Santa Monica California. I come from a family of natural health professionals; from Chiropractic, Nutrition, Massage Therapy and Physical fitness which spans across four generations, several States and Countries; where our family have lived and practice(d). I have been blessed to learn about Massage through a liason of education as a Chiropractic assistant, covering the front office duties, office management then Massage, through the same group in California. The focus of modalities have been in clinical, medical, sports therapy for Massage, later becoming a generalist of sorts; as I taught Massage for licensing in the State of Hawaii. I've been included in the ancient practices of Hawaiian Lomilomi with my Kumu for over seven years, and have continued when the opportunities arise, to align with the same instructor; and others in the lineage of Hawaiian Healing arts. Lomilomi is uniquely sacred to the Hawaiian Culture as their system of healing arts. In addition to Lomilomi, I was given hands on basic training in the Thai techniques of Massage Therapy. These are my main modalities, and others that I have picked up along the way; that can be perfected over my life time. It is important as we learn and grow with the modern changes in our industry and health care world wide, to carry out the traditional practices of the ancestors of healing arts.
