Jennifer Tucker
Inman Park Massage
About
I'm Jennifer and I've been a massage therapist for 24 years. I am located in the heart of beautiful Inman Park, blocks from the Krog Street Market and the Eastside Beltline.
Over the years I've studied and been inspired by many types of massage therapy: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial, Myoskeletal, Thai Massage, Barefoot Ashiatsu and Esalen® Massage. I let these various techniques inform the massage I give depending on the needs and desires of the client.
I believe that our bodies have an innate healing potential that occurs when we completely relax, let go and sink into the present moment. Having studied Chinese medicine and Buddhist meditation for years, all of my massage work is deeply rooted in the rich tradition of mind/body awareness. A great massage therapist knows how to listen with their hands and a great massage is a tuning in and really listening. I aspire to be an intuitive, creative and therapeutic massage therapist who is always present for the client.
