Kimberly McCormick

A 2004 graduate from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Previously, worked in the massage school industry for 15 years supporting students by helping to make their vision become a reality. Also, a graduate of Gateway Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently a volunteer, active board member, and Treasurer for the Healing Therapies THRU Sharing, a non-profit organization which provides Cancer Care and Support Services to clients in active treatment, remission, end of life care, as well as to their caregivers and family. Being a certified manual lymphatic drainage therapist and oncology massage specialist allows me to bring comfort to those in need by reducing their pain, inflammation, and anxiety, while increasing their range of motion, allowing clients to function better, play harder, sleep better and so much more. Blending my passion for massage and compassion for children, it was important for me to support Healing Therapies THRU Sharing by working with those affected by childhood cancer, both in a hospital setting or outpatient. Be it an infant, child, adolescent, or adult, my goal is to help each client to achieve their wellness goals and find inner peace. With gratitude, Kim
