Nellie Bentz

Nellie Bentz, a talented massage therapist who recently relocated to Connecticut, owns and operates Somatic Balance Massage, a tranquil and welcoming studio nestled in the Suite Space at Highland Plaza on Route 25 in Newtown, Connecticut.After attaining her undergraduate degree, Nellie went on to study massage therapy at The Bancroft School - one of New England's most respected educational institutions - where the curriculum focused heavily on anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. Drawing from an impressive tool box, Nellie crafts a personalized treatment plan for each client based on their goals and unique physiology. She incorporates multiple techniques into every session to address stress and tension on a physical, mental and emotional level.In her spare time, Nellie is a musician/composer, an avid hiker, and a yogi in training. *Studio is located in the back right-hand corner of Highland Plaza next to the taekwando center; enter through the main door for Suite Space, and go to the 3rd door down the corridor on your right.
