Kareen Tapia

My name is Kareen Tapia. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for eight years. My education in this field started in Colorado where I graduated from the Colorado Institute of massage therapy. There I specialized in neuromuscular and trigger point work. From Colorado my travels took me to North Carolina where I had the opportunity of working outside of Asheville at a beautiful wellness center. My training there focused on Thai massage and Ayurvedic techniques. Since then, I have a journeyed to Connecticut where I’ve had the beautiful opportunity of working with health professionals that have taught me many techniques, from myofascial releases to lymphatic techniques to incorporate for over all well-being as a Service provider. My goal as a massage therapist is to bring about peace and soothe the body and mind with every session. Whether a therapeutic session with the focus to prevent or improve recovery for injuries, provide pain relief, increase range of motion. Or to simply provide a moment for the body and mind to de-stress and relax, my goal is to provide results with each session.
