**As of 12\09\2025, I am now officially retired from doing Deep Tissue Massage and deep massage pressure. If you want deep pressure, you'll have to schedule with someone else. If you come to me saying you want deep work from now on, I will either have you reschedule your massage and give you suggestions of work mates who specialize in deep work, or I will do your massage with medium pressure at the most, if you agree to it. Then after the massage, I will refer you to work mates who specialize in deep work so you will feel more fulfilled in the future. But I still will work out any problems you come to me with. My pressure now will be light to medium, but you really don't need deep work for a therapeutic massage to be effective. Besides, massage therapy is not a test of how much pain you can take. That defeats the purpose of healing. My goal for your massage is still the same - to help with the healing process and help you relax and feel better. I use the following modalities in my massages: trigger point release, myofascial release (2 week/3 class seminar with John F Barnes March 2024), Shiatsu, reflexology, acupressure, facial lymph drainage, Swedish, wraps, aromatherapy, hot stone massage, scar tissue work, and prenatal massage. I am also certified in Medical Massage Therapy. I've also taken AMTA classes to assist cancer patients. I am also continuing to add to my massage toolbox by continuing to take courses in lighter modalities to help me help my clients heal and improve as they come to visit me for their massages and will update as I earn and learn more techniques. I love what I do for a living and would like to help you any time you need a massage.
