Melissa Flores began her training at the National Holistic Institute, where she completed an 800 hour core massage program and developed a strong foundation across a wide range of modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, and Prenatal Massage. Driven by a passion for understanding the body and helping clients manage pain, she continued her education with an additional 450 hours in Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy, followed by advanced study in Medical Massage where she received an Associate in Applied Science as an Advanced Neuromuscular and Medical Massage Clinician through NHI's AAS program.Prior to opening her practice, she worked alongside chiropractors, applying neuromuscular and rehabilitative techniques in a clinical environment. She has also worked in spa and wellness settings, including an Ayurvedic clinic where she practiced Abhyanga massage ( a traditional oil-based therapy focused on nervous system relaxation).
