I am a certified massage therapist in the state of California, and am an alumni of the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. There I completed 1250 hours of training in the NHI core program and Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy program. My style ties together focused neuromuscular work in areas of discomfort with flowing Swedish strokes, assisted stretches and passive range of motion designed to ease the nervous system and reintegrate the mind and body.Everybody has their own body with unique histories, wants, needs, stressors, aches, and pains. I meet you where you're at and design a session to fit your specific massage goals. My practice is a safe, secure, inclusive environment. Come as you are and treat yourself to relief and relaxation.As a neuromuscular therapist, I am experienced working with TMJ dysfunction, headaches, neck, shoulder, and arm pain, low back pain and sciatica, leg and foot pain; injury rehab and recovery, chronic and acute pain.I work with your care team (physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, dentists) to make sure we are taking care of you as best we can.Sessions include postural assessment, reassessment, and health education.
