I work with a full spectrum of clients. I also specialize in treating pregnant and postpartum clients and their families, as well as individuals who are recovering from physical and/or emotional trauma. In a typical session, I will use soothing, subtle rocking movements blended with firm deep pressure. Aimed to your body's deeper layers and your nervous system, this will help to reduce tension and pain due to misalignments, past lingering injuries, repetitive movements, traumatic experiences and chronic stress. Always moderated to be pleasurable yet deep, most clients find this work to be both soothing and demanding in its intensity. And it is oh-so exquisitely effective! I have been a practitioner and massage therapy teacher for over 48 years. What that means for you is that I am exceptionally knowledgeable, current, evidence-based and both thoughtful and creative in assessing and treating you. In addition to the work described above, I am highly skilled in other touch modalities, including techniques such as long, gliding and kneading movements, deep compression into trigger and pressure points, stretching and mobilization of joints, and soothing contact with the nervous system.
