I believe that a comfortable body ultimately lies at the intersection of soft tissue mobility, an even and slow breath pattern, and the strength and self-awareness that results from a daily conscious movement practice. Clients accustomed to a bodyworker that “fixes” their aches and pains will find my process to be much more collaborative; it asks that each client be curious and sensitive in and outside the session.

After over a decade of manual therapy experience, formal training, and attention to the most current research on pain and the body, I believe that customized techniques (spanning across touch and movement modalities) are required to compassionately interact with and disarm patterns of tension in held in the body. Client safety and comfort are my priorities during a treatment; this is the environment where true healing can occur.
