Emily Anderson

Emily is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. With a deep passion and appreciation for healing arts, Emily is very dedicated to assisting others on their quest for holistic well being. While her interest for massage sparked at a young age, Emily attended National Holistic Institute in 2011. She fell in love with her program and her mentors, so much that she didn't want to leave the school environment. After having a successful private practice for years and moving to Colorado, she started teaching at Denver School of Massage Therapy. She taught a wide range of classes including; Anatomy, Physiology, Trigger Point Therapy, Injury, Sports, Acupressure, and Reflexology. While Emily considers herself a Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, and Pain Relief Specialist and aims to correct dysfunction in the body, she also thoroughly enjoys incorporating all of her tools into each session, gauging and addressing each clients specific needs. Emily has worked under a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor and has found an intrinsic understanding in the importance of this ancient preventative medicine.
