I am a professional medical massage therapist. My approach to a pain relief massage is very different than your average massage because I only work on the areas related to your pain/injury.I combine modalities to unlock soft tissue and Trigger Points that are responsible for your pain. You can't achieve pain relief with just one approach and medical massage is not one size fits all. The reason for this is that your soft tissue and muscles react differently to pain and cause a variety of adhesions, tightness, knots, etc. These issues are responsible for creating a cycle of pain and discomfort.When you work with me, your session is very targeted to the areas where your pain originates from and where it refers to, so it's not a relaxing full body spa massage, but it's also not excruciating.  I combine Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release techniques to create a customized and pain relieving massage.The result is reduced pain, better circulation and better range of motion.
