About
My clinic specializes in treating auto injuries, work injuries, repetitive-strain injuries (RSI's), and chronic soft-tissue pain. Our focus is restoring function, reducing symptoms, and helping you return to the activities that matter most. We work closely with many physicians and healthcare providers in Tucson, and for auto or work-related claims, our office manages all billing on your behalf. To our knowledge, we are the only clinic in Tucson with dedicated expertise in both medical massage for auto injuries and the associated billing processes.I am also one of only a few of Tucson providers certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART). You can learn more about this highly effective modality at www.activerelease.com. I have never practiced in a spa setting; my expertise has always centered on helping patients resolve pain and regain movement. My foundation comes from Washington State’s rigorous 1,100-hour program at Renton Technical College, followed by clinical internships at Highline Hospital’s Family Birthing Center, chiropractic offices, and an extensive student clinic. From the very start of my career, I worked exclusively in multidisciplinary medical environments — collaborating with chiropractors (including ART providers), naturopathic physicians, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and other healthcare professionals. Washington’s licensing, education, and insurance laws create one of the most clinically oriented massage professions in the country. LMTs there are recognized as healthcare providers, regulated by the Department of Health, required to pass a national board exam, and trained to treat injuries, complex conditions, and medically-referred patients. That environment shaped my clinical reasoning, charting skills, treatment planning, and ability to work directly with referring physicians, insurance companies, and injured workers. I bring that entire framework — over 20 years of clinically focused practice, advanced continuing education, and interprofessional experience — back home to Tucson, where I was born and raised before spending nearly two decades in the Seattle area. This commitment to clinical integrity, human warmth, and my Tucson desert roots guides every aspect of my work — born and raised here, shaped by high-level Washington training, and now brought back home to elevate patient care and support the next generation of LMT clinicians.
