N. Seton Handville

Seton Handville is well qualified to serve as your coach and mentor as you work toward building your health. For over 15 years she has worked with individuals and groups in the areas of  mindbody health and wellness. She holds a Master of Public Health degree (concentration in Health Education), is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC), has attended the Professional Training Internship Program in MBSR at the UMass Memorial Health Center for Mindfulness in 1994, and is a Certified Teacher of Qigong and Tai Chi through the Institute for Integral Qigong and Tai Chi.  Mindful living has been a cornerstone of her life for 28 years, and she has practiced qigong & tai chi for over 25 years.Her motivation to serve others comes from years of lived experience as a single mother raising a medically and neurobehaviorally complicated child, caring for an aging parent, and successfully addressing auto-immunity concerns.Seton’s general focus is assisting women age 30 and above who seek to regain lost energy, focus, and overall wellbeing.  A deeper specialty is serving individuals with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and other auto-immune conditions as they navigate life challenges after diagnosis. She also works with clients transitioning to a gluten-free lifestyle.From a coaching philosophy based in the science of behavior change and rooted in positive psychology, she works enthusiastically with clients through all stages of change; encourages them to make small changes and skillfully coaches individuals through anticipated obstacles and normal setbacks.
