Like so many people, I have been on a journey of discovery about myself.  I went through years of pain and suffering thinking of a time, if even that was possible, to have no physical distress.  Years of physical distress translates into mental and emotional distress which in turn affects those closet to you as the stress takes its toll.  I am no stranger, like many to chronic and autoimmune illness which wreaks havoc and left me feeling severely depressed, suicial and isolated.An unlikely relationship led me to an integrative medicine physician and then eventually through my own research to Functional Medicine.  Over the past several years, I have expanded my understanding have gone through a transformation of what it really means to address root causes of illness and disease.  Everything is connected and I am continually reminded that we "are fearfully and wonderfully made"Through my own experiences, I focus on community, boosting immunity and developing resilience while letting go of fear. As a caregiver to an elderly parent, I also focus on caregivers and those managing autoimmune conditions who may be feeling overwhelmed and isolated not having any time to take care of themselves or to even know where to set up boundaries.  Having a coach to listen and validate their experiences and then to support clients in reclaiming themselves as persons of value.  As a nurse with many years of experience in hospital based care helping clients manage through excellent communication and providing the support tools to navigate a very complex healthcare system so they are able to advocate for themselves and for their loved ones.  I have helped clients with weight loss, releasing brain fog, helping clients redefine what "healthy" means to them so each can live their best life moving forward.I EMPOWER people to OwN their JOURney FREE from Fear.
