About
I have always believed that correcting the source of a problem is better than treating the effects. This mentality began early, after a recurring knee injury impacted my martial arts practice. It would get better, but never really went away. I managed and tolerated the pain for a long time. Nearly 10 years later, I finally received care, consisting of a combination of soft tissue care, adjustments, and movement therapy, and it resolved.
I am very dedicated to my education, and take pride in educating my patients. I earned my associate of arts degree then completed my bachelor of science degree at Portland State University. During graduate school, I earned a second bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a doctorate.
I have been an athlete most of my life, and the master's program offered countless opportunities to work with many athletes, especially youth athletes. From working the sidelines to providing medical at an event, I really enjoy the mentality and drive of the athletic population.
