With more than 37 years in practice, we have the experience and gentle touch you want. Dr Whalen is a specialist who lectures other doctors on neurology and workers' compensation. He'll take the time to get to the bottom of your problem, and work with you to develop a treatment plan based on your needs, as well as the latest research on what is most effective. We offer a variety of treatment approaches, from traditional manipulation to low force and non-force methods. In addition, we can provide you with tailored exercises, and various physiotherapy techniques.

Dr Whalen is a past president of the California Chiropractic Association, and won numerous honors including student of the year, new doctor of the year is the only doctor to win "Doctor of the Year" 3 times from CalChiro in the history of the organization. He also was lead author of national guidelines for neck and back pain.

Dr Whalen is the past chairman of the Clinical Compass, the national organization developing chiropractic "Best Practices." He has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals. He is also President of the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery, their first chiropractor ever as an expert in work comp injuries.
