Everything we do at The Center for Functional Health is centered around you, the patient – because you hold the keys to so many aspects shaping your health. And without your active participation in your journey to health, none of our wisdom will create long-term health. Our Center for Functional Health Roadmap is a unique approach to help motivated adults battling gut issues, heart disease, diabetes, and autoimmune dysfunction regain control over their health so they can enjoy a well-balanced, active life looking and feeling their best… even if previous approaches have failed. How we approach care - Using a variety of treatment modalities, including using food as medicine in tandem with state-of-the-art testing. Focusing holistically on all the areas that impact your health… including movement, emotions, and mindset. Teaching patients how to take an active role in health creation, so that they can heal and/or keep chronic illness at bay. Focusing on optimal health, based on your unique biological needs, not just the absence of symptoms or disease. Acknowledging the multi-factorial nature of complex causes of illness, which requires an experienced clinician who can pinpoint the reasons you have the illness and craft the correct treatment plan. Using natural, non-toxic therapies, as much as possible, harnessing the body’s amazing ability to heal itself. My mission at The Center for Functional Health is to guide you to be in the best health you can be, to enjoy the freedom to spend quality time with your family and friends and to pursue life on your terms without health restrictions. The Center for Functional Health will enable patients to exponentially improve their health through the use of technology such as advanced functional lab testing and clinical examination; education and personalized attention. With the patient and their primary care physician acting as part of the team, The Center for Functional Health will create the setting for transformational growth towards optimal healthy living.
