Hi – my name is Liz Delizia, I have a Master's in Health Education, am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), a Certified Autoimmune Holistic Nutrition Specialist, AIP Certified Coach, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and Osteoporosis Fitness Specialist.  I have worked as a Health Educator for more than 30 years - and personal struggles with ulcerative colitis and inflammatory arthritis lead me to explore diet and lifestyle modification as integral pieces to improving well-being. Discovering AIP was life changing, and it was clear to me I wanted to become a certified coach to help others! Through years of education, research, and exploration, I’ve developed my own roadmap to better health. Now I draw on everything I’ve learned to help others understand autoimmunity and other health struggles, while playing an active role in improving their health. My specialities include autoimmunity/inflammation as well as bone health, and I take a very collaborative approach with my clients. I am passionate about helping others feel better and take ownership of their own health as much as possible. As a Functional Nutrition and Health Consultant, I look at the person as a whole, with a focus on nutrition, digestion, blood sugar regulation, physical activity, stress management, and sleep. I am absolutely in favor of medication when needed, and I also feel it’s our job to provide our bodies the support and foundation to heal and thrive as much as possible. I leave the diagnosis and treatment to the physicians, and we work on understanding and navigating the factors that go beyond the doctor’s office, which also play a crucial role.  I meet clients one-on-one either in person or remotely and offer a free 15-minute consultation.
