I am a traditionally and functionally trained GI Nurse Practitioner and specialize in complex GI conditions. Highly skilled at evaluating GI conditions through the functional medicine lens including microbiome imbalance, leaky gut, and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). I work alongside gastroenterologists who perform endoscopy if needed to diagnose GI conditions as well. I personally understand what it feels like to experience gastrointestinal symptoms as I was diagnosed with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and Ulcerative Colitis (UC) in 2020. I understand the challenges of making lifestyle changes to support healing in the body. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to wellness. I blend traditional medicine with functional wellness principles which are rooted in lifestyle modification to achieve and sustain health. Gastroenterology Associates of Colorado Springs is a managed care practice that accepts most insurances which is beneficial to the patient in terms of affordable access. This model of care typically allows 20-25 minutes of care with me per appointment to address health concerns. Due to the limitation of time in this health care model, I suggest patients prioritize their concerns prior to appointments to maximize our time together.
