Dr. Wang is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of oriental medicine in the state of Pennsylvania with professional Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, biomedical science educational background. He is also an ajunct clinical faculty in Won Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He works as a clinical supervisor for graduate students of Oriental Medicine program. He is good at treatment of various disorders including pain (chronic back pain, periarthritis, herniated lumbar disc, Sciatica, headache, magrine, sports injury, etc), infertility, allergy, diabetes, obesity and so on, with the combination of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Tuina therapeutic massage and Chinese Herbals.
He is also good at teaching patients to recover with some simple and useful self-excises skills which can reduce the patients healthcare cost a lot. Cheng is very interested in nature therapy and eastern culture. He has strong passion to broadcasting Eastern culture to Western.
He received his medical degree in 1999 and finished clinical training in the 1st hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. Then he finished his philosophy doctor of science program in Hunan Medical University. In 2006, he moved to US and finished postdoctoral training in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
