Maureen Gary

Maureen is a licensed acupuncturist; holds a BA degree from New School of Social Research, NY., Masters of Acupuncture degree from TAI/MUIH, Columbia, Maryland. Previousely she spent 20 years in the field of Mental Health counseling adults, young adults and children. She is Board Certified by NCCOM and NADA, certified for working with addictions, and certified with Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute to work with trauma. She previously was on faculty at MUIH, Columbia, Md. She practiced acupuncture with mentally disabled in Baltimore City, and has a private practice in Columbia, Md.

She provides a rich background in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain and substance abuse. Special interest: women's health; women seeking assistance in enhancing fertility, pregnancy and post-partam health. Supports womens emotional and physiological wellness and experiences a high rate of success working with women becoming pregnant.

She partners with patients in their quest to reach their optimal state of well being by helping patients' sleep better, lower anxiety and stress, having the ability to focus resulting in a healthier life style. Opening the potential for whats possible that exists within their body, mind and spirit.
