Richard Kim L.Ac has learned Eastern Medicine in L.A. and he studied more in Republic of Korea. And his one of the eastern medicine skills is a Chuna manipulation which is the treatment of pulling and pushing the muscle which balances your body by releasing the tensions in the muscle, ligament, disc, and vertebrae. After the Chuna manipulation, Richard Kim L.Ac helps the movement of the patient during acupuncture treatment in severe cases. This movement assistance during the acupuncture therapy eases the pain by releasing the muscles, and circulating blood very well.

In eastern medicine, the most commonly used treatments are acupuncture, moxibution, cupping, herbal medicine, and physical therapy. At the Dongwon clinic has two additional therapies are Chuna manipulation and Movement Acupuncture. These treatment are used for spinal disorders, bone, and joint diseases as well.
