Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He was a Professor at the Midwest College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from March 2005 to June 2024. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

Specialized in treating pain, sports injuries, emotional issues, and women's health. Specialized in bone mineral metabolism and menopause-transition care when working in China.

With his extensive background in Traditional and Integrative Medicine, Dr. J is able to provide acupuncture and oriental medical treatment for patients with complicated medical conditions in coordination with their medical doctors.
